Move Money
Sometimes, you need to move money—between your TruChoice accounts, from another bank or credit union, to another member, or to a friend who doesn’t have a TruChoice account.
Online banking and our mobile app make it quick and easy.
Move money between your accounts
Need to move money between your TruChoice accounts? Whether it’s moving funds between checking and savings or paying a loan, you can do it immediately. Simply use the ‘Quick Transfer’ feature at no cost.
Send money to another member
Member-to-member transfers are quick! Move funds instantly at no cost with our transfer feature. Just choose ‘Another Member’ from the Transfer To menu. You'll need their member number, suffix, and last name. Funds are moved immediately, and there’s no cost.
Transfer money to someone outside TruChoice
You can make person-to-person transfers using ‘Pay Anyone’. This lets you send money to a friend or family member without knowing their bank account info. You can find it in the ‘Move Money’ section of the app, or ‘Manage Money’ in online banking. You'll need the recipient's name and phone number or email address. Once they are notified of the pending transfer, they'll need to set up their banking information on the secure site to claim the funds Don't worry—it's quick, easy, and secure! Funds usually arrive in 2-3 business days.
Transfer money between TruChoice and your other financial institutions
Have accounts elsewhere? It’s easy to use TruChoice as your financial hub. You’ll need the routing and account number for the bank or credit union you’re looking to transfer too, and the account will need to be in your name. To get set up, just look for the ‘Link another bank/cu’ option under ‘Manage Money,’ in online banking, and under ‘Move Money’ in the app. Once your other financial institution is set up, you can choose it from the ‘Transfer Funds’ or ‘Quick Transfer’ options. Set up takes a couple of days to finalize, and transfers between financial institutions typically take 2-3 days to process.
Get your Paycheck early!
Get paid early by depositing scheduled direct deposit funds into your account with ACH On Demand. Why wait when you don’t have to? Once you see your direct deposit pending within online banking or on the mobile app, you can access those funds. Many employers (but not all) schedule direct deposits 1-2 days early.
There is a $15 fee when you use ACH On Demand.
You can access ACH On Demand through mobile or online banking under Member Services. Select ACH Transaction. If a pending ACH deposit is eligible for early access, it will say Post Now. Click Post Now, review the details, select the account for the $15 fee, then click Accept Fee and Post. That’s it!
