Scholarships
We're happy to support our members in many ways, including through our annual scholarship program. A group of our employees volunteer to review applications and choose four recipients each year to receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Do you know a graduating senior going into the trades? TruChoice is a proud sponsor of the Maine Blue Collar Scholarship Fund, their applications are open now!
What are the requirements?
All applicants must:
- Be high school seniors who will be attending a college, university, or technical school in the fall after graduation
- Be a TruChoice member or immediate family of a member
Applications need to include a personal essay and one recommendation letter.
How do you apply?
2026 college scholarship applications are now open. Please submit this application, an essay, and a letter of reference by March 31st, 2026.
Applications are accepted by mail, email, or fax, or you may drop it off at one of our branches in Portland, Biddeford, and Buxton.
