Scholarships

We're happy to support our members in many ways, including through our annual scholarship program. A group of our employees volunteer to review applications and choose four recipients each year to receive a $1,000 scholarship.

What are the requirements?

All applicants must:

• Be high school seniors who will be attending a college, university, or technical school in the fall after graduation
• Be a TruChoice member or immediate family of a member

Applications need to include a personal essay and one recommendation letter.

How do you apply?

2025 Scholarship applications will become available in early spring of 2025.  Keep an eye on our social media (Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn) for further details.  

Complete a TruChoice Scholarship Application and submit all materials by the deadline. Applications are accepted by mail, email, or fax, or you may drop it off at one of our branches in Portland, Biddeford, and Buxton.
