Members are credit union owners. Everyone, no matter the size of their accounts, has a vote at our annual meeting. They elect the volunteer board of directors who help guide our mission, vision, and direction.

TruChoice began as a credit union for hospital employees in 1955. Over the years, we’ve grown quite a bit. Now, we help people across 10 Maine counties gain financial wellness. As your financial partner, we’ll stay focused on your personal goals and keep your best interests front and center, making sure you have the right tools for the journey. Big banks aren’t the only ones offering convenience and technology. You don’t need to sacrifice either for local banking. Plus, as a local credit union, we live and work in the same neighborhoods that you do.
